So, here's the scoop on our unexpected culinary adventure! After our booking at Samrub Samrub got cancelled due to a blackout, we found ourselves at Nusara Bangkok, ranked no. 3 on Asia's 50 best restaurants list. 🌟

This place serves traditional Thai cuisine with a twist, offering a 12-course menu filled with intricate snacks, appetizers, and family-style main courses. 💫

Now, let's get real about the experience. At roughly $230 SGD per person for 12 courses, it wasn't too expensive. And they served way more food than we could handle! We left so much on the table, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

When it comes to taste, it was a mixed bag. Despite the beautiful plating, many dishes tasted pretty ordinary. Some hits, some misses. 🍽️ But hey, it was still a fun experience, especially with the gorgeous atmosphere and the view of Wat Pho temple from both dining rooms. 😍

However, if I’m being honest, I’ve had many better fine dining experiences in Singapore alone. It makes you wonder how Nusara snagged that no. 3 spot in Asia. 🤔

All in all, it was an interesting culinary journey, but we'll keep searching for that next unforgettable dining experience. 🌟✨
