MY #1 PET PEEVE AS THE “SKINNY FRIEND”

I’ve always had friends who were thicker than me, i’ve always been considered the “skinny friend” growing up.

My pet peeve would always be when my friends would say something like “oh i wish i was skinny like you” or “ I wish i could eat whatever and stay as skinny as you” or refer to me as a “twig”.

When someone like me sees/hears something like this, of course its going to mess with our heads. They have no idea what we go through, how hard it is to stuff our mouth with food just to gain a few more pounds. Not to mention when they say something infront of other people and we have to just sit there and take it while awkwardly smiling….
