Hidden industrial hipster cafe/thrift store in JB

Malaysia In the heart of housing estate in Johor Bahru, my girlfriend and I stumble across this industrialised cafe called Mollylicious. This cafe is a haven for those who embrace the unconventional. Unlike your normal cafe where you have your usual brunch menu items this places serves as a get together hangout place. Without a standardised setting such as your tables and chairs this place truly offers a unique cafe experience. With your concrete walls and different sort of tables and chairs/sofa makes this place insta worthy. There is also a thrift shop right above the cafe where they have a decent selection of t shirt, wind breakers, jacket and hoodies. They also sell thrifted shoes as well the price range of these items cost around 50ringgit. If I’m not wrong this a promotion pricing from what I heard from the staff there. Of course there are named brands as well but those go up to 60rm and above. Food and drinks Review 🍕🍹 we had the holy smoke salmon pizza and honestly this pizza was a 5/5 for those that don’t know I don’t usually have a liking like sushi or semi raw food. I preferred my seafood fully cooked🫣(Sorry to all you sushi lovers but it’s my own personal preference) the serving for the pizza is able to cater for 3pax in my opinion. In addition to its big portions they gave a generous amount of salmon. This pizza is slightly spicy because they added chilli flakes inside the pizza so for you guys who are unable to take spicy food you can let the waiter know not to add chilli flakes inside. Apart from smoked salmon the pizza was also topped with arugula and some capers. Surprisingly this is the first time I squeeze lemon juice on top of my pizza and the sourness of the lemon complimented the saltiness of the capers. We also had the truffle mac and cheese🧀 and in my opinion the mac and cheese was a miss I am someone who loves my pasta extremely cheesy however this mac and cheese wasn’t really up to my expectations. I would give it a 2/5. There really wasn’t much to explain on this dish and my girlfriend and I didn’t manage to finish half of it. Lastly moving on to the drinks we had the bubblegum yakult soda and bad b*tch 🍑 soda. Unlike your average cafe where they specialise in coffee or green tea this cafe specialises in soda the waiter recommended us two sodas and damn his recommendations was good. Bubblegum yakult soda was very refreshing and you can actually taste the bubblegum flavour. The peach soda was also very thirst quenching not sour and not too overly sweet. Overall these two sodas I would give them 5/5. 🤔Would go again? I would definitely go back to this cafe just to try out their other pizzas as this cafes has a small food menu which 80% is pizza where as they only have 2 pasta options which is their normal mac and cheese and truffle mac and cheese. I would also like to try their strawberry cheesecake puff which my girlfriend and I didn’t have the chance cause we were extremely stuffed by the pizza 😭 but their dessert seriously looks damn good😋.
