How to toner copper hair 👩🏻‍🦰

One of the most frequently asked questions I receive is how I maintain the tone of my hair. It requires a lot of dedication and being disciplined with the frequency of touch-ups, as well as using high-quality products.

🟠 Why do I make this mixture?

Despite the Keracolor Clenditioner being called "Copper," honestly, it's more of a cherry red. So, to make it more orangish, I mix it with "Honey," which is blonde. This way, I achieve the perfect coppery blonde that resembles the dye I have on, which is the Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 8-77 - Light Blonde Copper.

🟠 How often should you do it?

I do it monthly, after root touch-ups. You can do it more often if you want the color to be more vibrant all the time, but I don't recommend doing it more than twice a month because it can create a kind of buildup that makes the hair feel heavier and greasier.

🟠 How to make it last longer?

When you rinse it out, preferably use a shampoo that's designed for color-treated hair. And, of course, use it in every subsequent wash to extend the duration of the results. My favorite is the Color Soul line by Braé.
