If you're looking for the best tiramisu to try, I tested 9 popular recipes in one day and here are my top 4 recommendations!

Bravetart: If you want a more chocolate-forward tiramisu, this is the perfect one to try. This recipe also calls for making homemade ladyfingers, but you can use storebought if you like. There is definitely more emphasis on chocolate and less on the coffee/alcohol in this tiramisu.

Giada di Laurentiis: This tiramisu has the perfect ratio of cream to ladyfingers with just the right tang of rum and hint of coffee. The cream was quite rich with lots of egg yolks and mascarpone, but it's not overly sweet. I prefer this made in an 8x8 rather than a 9x13 pan for thicker layers!

Del Posto: With homemade sponge cake instead of ladyfingers, this cake is a little more effort than your average tiramisu. However, it's a fun project to try for an entirely homemade tiramisu. I would double the amount of cream for my ideal proportion of cream to cake--but otherwise, this was very tasty.

A Cozy Kitchen: This recipe is SO easy to make and was one of my favorites! There's a perfect amount of cream to ladyfingers, perfect balance of rum vs. coffee vs. rich cream flavor, and overall perfect texture and balance. Highly recommend!
