Five Leaves Five Leaves ricotta pancakes: this Australian-inspired cafe serves up thick, doughy pancakes that are hearty and a perfect base for fruit, maple syrup and honeycomb butter. These were nice to try once but I won’t be rushing back.
Ruby's Cafe - East Village Ruby’s Cafe ricotta hotcakes: another Australian-inspired cafe with many locations around the city, these are a little lighter than Five Leaves with a great sear on each pancake. The side of honeycomb butter and Nutella is a great combination!
NOMO Kitchen Nomo Kitchen lemon ricotta pancakes: these are some of the most unusual pancakes I’ve tried in NYC and some of my favorites! The texture is lighter and airier with moist center. The candied pistachios and fruit add great texture and the ricotta sauce is silky and delicious! They are the most expensive but worth the price in my opinion. I crave these routinely!
