I failed at easter photos 😅

as a photographer and new mom I feel like the pressure is always on to capture the most social media worthy photos, especially at holidays. well that was not happening today, and i’m posting this to remind myself that that’s okay!

I had the cutest matching dresses planned for my daughter and I and had imagined a perfect family photo with a cutie 10 week old photo shoot. unfortunately between baby naps, family time and cooking an amazing meal, it didn’t happen 💁🏼‍♀️

I was really hard on myself about it tonight after realizing our girl’s first easter wasn’t documented according to my crazy standards but then I realized the joy our girl showed in these silly photos my sister snapped and it brought me back down to earth a bit. the holiday wasn’t about a social media picture but making memories as a little family and loving on this sweet face!
