My bookish red flags

🚩Some of my bookish red flags 🚩

🚩: the covers have to be appealing! The first thing you see is the cover and spin so if the cover has a cool design that I like I will pick it up. Also no real people! I don’t know why but I hate real people on book covers, or people in general.

🚩: my most recent read (or favorite book) I will think about 24/7. I will think about how it would be if I was in the story as a character and make references to the book to people that don’t even read😂

🚩: before buying a book I will read a few pages up to a chapter before I buy it mainly because if I have to be interested to read (I have no patience😭)

🚩: I just can’t put down a book in the middle of somewhere, there has to be a good spot to pick up at

🚩: I always see books everywhere that I tell my self I’ll read I can never just leave a good looking book on a shelf🤷🏼‍♀️

🚩: goes along with the last one. I just have so many and I forget about a lot. I also always see more then read them instead of ones I already have

🚩: I have a very strict way of treating my books (my ocd goes crazy when it comes to the treatment of books) so I just never loan books to people
