TCM-inspired Dinner that tastes amazing?!

This restaurant had been on my saved list for the longest time, and I was so excited to be heading there for a dinner.

The entrance itself was already so captivating. Felt like I was being transported right to olden china where you could visit TCM medical halls in your qipao while a trishaw rider waited for you outside the shop. 🪭

Right off the bat, awesome sincere service from our wait staff Sangeetha. All the service staff were professional and friendly.

Really interesting decor and theme with a mix of Chinese traditional elements with modern designs. The menu was in those old Chinese books you see in palace dramas?! Also the cocktail menu came in a scroll! I was very entertained. 😛

Best of all, the food was so good! Tbh wasn’t expecting it to be so tasty since usually if the decor is so good, and if the food is instaworthy, the taste of the food quality and taste might go south. Glad I was proven wrong on many counts- the chicken pao fan was 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Chicken was so tender, soup was flavourful. Also, the crab meat pani puri was delightful as well. What a cute fusion that works so well? The duck rillete tart, chicken roulade, butter beef dish (they can change the meat too) was so good as well. The butter sauce was like a cross between a butter crab sauce and… a hint of salted egg? 🤤

Must try the nori-sh (get it? “Nourish”?) cocktail too! Will come back again to try the nourishing mocktails and the pao fan again.

I can see how our parents would like this place too cause the food is familiar yet it comes with a twist, and is still tasty!
