F1 SG Grand Prix

Since it’s gonna be F1 season soon in SG, I thought why not share some tips from when I went for qualifying in 2022! 🏎️

For context, I went for Zone 4 walkabout on Saturday.

Tip 1️⃣: Bring a poncho/umbrella. ☂️

Tip 2️⃣: Wear something comfortable that is kinda flowy and maybe wear a cap too in case it gets hot. 🥵 Wear comfortable shoes especially if you bought walkabout tix cos there will be A LOTTT of standing.

Tip 3️⃣: Bring portable charger and a mini fan. ‼️

Tip 4️⃣: If you bought walkabout tix, try to grab a bite before quali starts, maybe during the previous races. We ate just before quali started and had to rush to find a suitable spot. 🍔

Tip 5️⃣: Very important to chope your seats so that you get a front row view. Best is to go in early and walk around to see where you can get the best view. The second pic is the type of free seating for walkabout tix holders but everyone will stand during quali, so try to be in the front row.

Tip 6️⃣: If you wanna watch the performances do time it properly. If it’s right before quali then maybe watch a bit and stand at the back of the crowd so it’s easier for you to exit.

Tip 7️⃣: I expected the cars to be louder but it wasn’t that bad so if you want, bring earplugs just in case.

Tip 8️⃣: Not really a tip but be prepared to move your head very quickly whenever the cars pass by. 🫨
