Six Yaki was founded by six passionate foodies with experience in Japan, dedicated to creating family-friendly restaurants. To perfect your unique seafood yakitori experience, fresh seafood ingredients are handpicked and prepared by Chef Jeremy who guarantees that it is at its finest quality!✨

We tried their NEW Omakase menu which features the combination of the freshest seafood from Japan mixed with the irresistible and authentic Thai flavours! The cost is $138 per pax, not including drinks, and I must strongly emphasise on how impressive the quality of food and the exquisite fine dining experience was!

To 8 of us, it is a steal!😍

We begin our 8-course dinner with the (1.) appetiser:

1. Freshly seasoned fruits & vegetables with spicy sweet & sour Thai dressing and Crunchy Sakura Ebi plated in a classy martini glass. This dish is so refreshing and aromatic that it instantly whetted our appetite! The juicy pomelo and Crunchy Ebi certainly left us wanting for more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😋

2. Vibrantly plated Hiroshima Oyster in its gorgeously large shell, Hokkaido Ikura with Thai seafood sauce and fried shallots was such a burst of outstanding fusion flavours! It is so succulent you’ll be left sucking juice off your fingertips when you eat them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

3. Savoury Hokkaido Hokkigai (Surf clams) with Thai roasted chilli sauce and sweet basil that is packed with a strong aromatic component of Southeast Asian cuisine with the essence of herbs incorporated! The sauce is particularly piquant & flavoursome! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

4. Succulent looking aka Ebi (Prawn) with Acacia vegetable & Onsen Tamago in Thai sour curry soup and tamarind! The combination of the Thai sour curry and the sweet & juicy prawn was simply heavenly! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

5. Silky & smooth Grilled Gindara with Thai Garlic and Lime sauce!

This combination was super soft, flavourful, and does not taste fishy at all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

6. Generous portion of the Grilled Giant River Prawn with Thai Yellow Curry. The size of the prawn made us go WOW when we first saw it! But NGL, compared to other dishes, the taste was nothing to write home about. ⭐⭐

7. THE HIGHLIGHT! The Grilled Snow Crab Claw & Thai Flower Crab Meat in a generous bowl of Kani Miso, Signature Crustaceans Broth and Somen Noodles! Guys, this dish is simply mouthwatering and left all 8 of us gratifying for a second serving of the soup! WE DOWN 2 BOWLS! The fragrant soup tasted like it had to be thoroughly boiled for long hours to achieve such an irresistible and addictive flavour! Not to worry, the chef will top up your soup upon request! We absolutely love this and for the majority of us, it is our favourite! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😋

8. To end off a great dinner, their dessert is the Hokkaido Milk Ice Cream on top of the Thai Milk Tea Pudding. We never thought this combo would be so perfect & well balanced! The Thai Milk Tea flavour wasn’t too strong so it helped us clear our savoury palate from all the previous dishes, while leaving us the lightly sweetened Thai sweetness along with the creamy and decadent Hokkaido milk ice cream. We were so busy finishing every scoop we could gather because this truly was mind blowing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😋

We couldn't stop talking about the delicious 8-course dinner until we parted ways.
