HEVEL, your next valentines spot❤️

Hevel is a relatively new restaurant that opened in November 2023. It was a 10 course menu and every dish was a standout. I’m by no means a food critic but I’ll just highlight my top 3 favourites of the night.

1. Custard: Reminiscent to Chawanmushi. The texture of the custard was soooo smooth.

2. Potato Hash, Leek: The hash was crispy and did not have an oily feeling and the uni cut through giving a creamy finish. What was the standout was the Piquillo pepper. I’m not too sure if they still pair it with the Hash but I enjoyed it with the bread 🍞.

3. Duck 🦆: Paired with roasted barley and white onion. The duck looks the most underwhelming but the dish was extremely flavourful.

At that time they were still having an opening promo so the price was at $128++ but the last I checked, it increased to $138++🥲. I would say it’s an extremely pleasant date night spot for any special occasion!
