Our situation:

We are casually planning our 2nd honeymoon for October when we realized hubby's passport is going to expire soon and we need to renew it before booking tickets!

Right away after finding that out, I kid you not, he sprung onto his feet and took off his clothes and put on a wedding outfit (without changing the pants).

Then we did an impromptu passport photoshoot at home (11PM). Hubby said he did it multiple times before already, for himself, his family and friends' siblings (sure or not?).

🪜 STEPS 🪜

1. TAKE THE SHOT 🤳

Take a nicer photo so that you don't have to do so much post processing editting.

- place the camera about 1m away so face will not get fish eye effect

- find a white background

- find good lighting without harsh shadows (or take a table lamp and put it in front of photographer)

- ICA website has the official guidelines also (e.g. show shoulder)

2. CLEAN UP PHOTO 🖌️

- Download a passport photo editor app ("Passport Photo")

- it will help you to reduce photo size, crop to the correct dimensions.

- (Optional) Samsung Gallery App can help to touch up some pimples or stray hair situation (Object removal)

3. SUBMIT TO ICA ASAP!
