getting a big tax refund isn't a good thing 👀

🤑 Last year, I got a BIG tax refund (over $5k).

At first I was excited about what I could do with all that extra money....until I realized it isn't "extra money" at all. It's $5k that I basically loaned to the government for free. It's $5k that could've generated interest for me in a HYSA or grown in an investment account!

This year, I managed to avoid the big tax refund (in fact, I actually owed $512) 👀
