Why I love being home 🏠🫶🏼

Don’t get me wrong, my husband and I love to travel and experience new things. But nights out every weekend? It’s overrated.

When we first moved to Austin we were out all the time exploring the city. But it quickly became redundant so we started vibing out at home more, and we just plan special nights or occasions.

On the weekends I love to go to the farmers market, hike, be in nature to get the vitamin D, hit up a brunch spot or a quick lunch, run errands if needed, and be back home for the night.

This promotes at home cooking, planning for the week ahead, learning/researching about new things, conversations with my husband and most of all, we save moneyyyy for the things we care most about in life.

My coffee and food is the best to me 😊 lol so I don’t really crave going out to restaurants unless its worth it. That money can be used for more groceries so that I can get more creative in the kitchen.

We’re either planning some type of travel, or a huge thing (like currently a baby and a house). The pandemic truly taught us to enjoy our loved one’s presence without needing social buffers or outside factors.
