Ikseon-dong 익선동 is a neighborhood in the Jongno District of Seoul, South Korea, known for its narrow alleys, hanok (traditional Korean houses), and trendy cafes. It is still considered a 'hidden gem' for many, located in the heart of Seoul. 🫶🏼

There were many aesthetics alleyways to take definitely insta-worthy pictures all for the gram. Any spot was literally a good spot to take a good photo with the simplicity of the traditional houses to trendy aesthetics alleyways.

There were also many cafes to visit and small stores go buy souvenirs or to shop around. Also they had a gachapon machine for individual horoscopes in the open area, so all you have to do is to put your money notes into the slot machine and they will give you a coin for you to slot in which horoscope you chose, then follow by slotting the coin inside and turn it. A ball will come out, open it up and you will see a letter with korean words saying about your horoscope this year, if you can’t understand korean no worries just use google translation hehe 😆

- Known for their castella and fromage cake and also their entrance of the cafe is really aesthetically pleasing, it’s a must to head there !! 👌🏻

- Known and focusing on their bread products , they have very unique bread options for you to choose.

A one-time trip to hanok village was definitely not enough as there were so many other cafes to explore. ☹️ But all cafe lovers should really head here as it is really a “ cafe heaven “, endless options to go too.
