Crispy, juicy wings tossed in a sweet, lemony, and buttery sauce, these are a guarantee hit no matter who you serve them to. I also revamped my wing recipe to ensure maximum crispiness! Perfect for game day. Make sure to give this one a try!
- 3.5 pounds chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Lemon Pepper Sauce:
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon honey (add more if you want it sweeter)
- Squeeze of lemon juice (optional)
Directions:
1. Clean and pat dry chicken wings very well. Add baking powder, olive oil, and seasonings. Mix very well.
2. Air fry the wings at 400°F for 18 to 26 minutes or until golden and crispy. Toss in between.
3. In the meantime, melt butter in a pot. Add lemon pepper seasoning, hot sauce, honey, and lemon juice (optional). Mix well.
4. Let the wings rest for 5 minutes to maximize crispiness. Add the sauce with the wings, toss to coat. Finish with some fresh parsley.
5. Serve immediately with or without sauce of choice, I did blue cheese. Enjoy!
