Crispy chicken tenders smothered with a delicious Asian inspired sweet heat sauce. My family absolutely devours these anytime I make them, they are SO good!

- 2 to 3 chicken breasts cut into tenders

- Buttermilk

- Seasonings of choice

- Hot sauce

- 1 egg

- Seasoned flour

- Cilantro, chopped

Sweet Heat Sauce:

- Sweet chili sauce

- Sriracha

- 2 garlic cloves

- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

- Chili flakes

- Squeeze of lemon juice

Directions:

1. Marinate chicken tenders for an hour or more with seasonings, buttermilk, hot sauce, and an egg.

2. Add each tender into the seasoned flour and coat well. Make sure to press the flour into the tenders.

3. Fry the tenders in a 350° oil for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping in between. Once the internal temperature is 165°, take the tenders out of the oil. Rest on a wire rack, so it stays extra crispy!

4. Combine all the sauce ingredients and bring to a boil, let it slightly thicken.

5. Toss the tenders in the sauce until fully coated. I like to finish with some fresh cilantro.

6. Serve immediately with your favorite sauce, I did a homemade ranch. Enjoy!
