Signs That Mean Your Baby Is Ready To Walk

Starting from 9 months of age, your baby may start to show several signs that they are ready to learn to walk. I notice my 10 month old doing these things constantly, and sure enough, she’s almost at the point of taking her first steps.

Some of the signs showing your baby is ready to walk may be:

🌟Cruising

Is your baby always walking along the couch or coffee table to get from point A to point B? This is known as cruising.

🌟Standing Independently

Your baby may be able to stand freely without holding onto anything. You can also see improved balance in their stance.

🌟Steps With Support

Your baby may take a few steps while holding onto your hands for support.

🌟Shows Interest In Walking

Your baby may reach towards objects or people while standing, expressing their eagerness to walk.

it’s important to remember that all babies are different. They may show all of these signs, or none. They may walk at 9 months, or 14 months of age. No matter what, it’s all an exciting time!
