Creating Our Nursery in Our New Home

Our first home was special to me for many reasons. It was the home my husband and I came back to after our wedding. It was where pictures of our pets little furry faces decorated the walls. It was the home that became our daughters after she entered the world. I still vividly remember walking through our front door, holding her tiny self in her carrier, while our dog immediately greeted us with excitement and sniffed her little head.

The first picture was the nursery of my dreams - off white walls with a pink undertone, boho rainbow stickers, acrylic book shelves, with neutral furniture. We lived there for about a year until we moved into our new home, and saying goodbye to that nursery was so emotional. Only moms know the endless hours spent in a room so special; especially during the first year of your babies life.

Now that I have a clean slate to create a nursery in our new home, my style has changed a bit. I love bright, clean walls with pops of color, while still remaining neutral. This baby will most likely be our last, so this room will be extra special for us.
