raw: the perfect earthy outdoor cafe 🍃🐌

raw kitchen bar is the perfect outdoor cafe to enjoy some homely and hearty food – full of luscious greenery, windy and calm surroundings, this cafe opens you up and is a great place for HTHT with your loved ones!

so here’s what we ordered and some of our thoughts –

1. shakshuka – 4/5 🍅🍳

their shakshuka is unlike the usual ones i’ve had, topped with cheese and slightly saucier. they have a unique combination of veggies and herbs 🪴 which gives it a more unique taste, paired with lovely soft boiled eggs that melt out of its yolk! most places don’t give enough bread 🍞 for dipping and tasting, but the shashuka came with four pieces which was very well-seasoned and toasted, and i definitely didn’t run out of bread (that’s a first)~

2. black mamba – 5/5 🐍🖤

black mamba is a black fried rice dish, topped with an egg yolk, hearty chunks of super fresh jumbo prawns, 🦐 and decorated with a side of delicious chili sambal! 🥵 i don’t know what they put in this dish, but it was the best fried rice i ever tasted. like BEST fried rice, the way the ingredients blended together was so heavenly, and when i shared this even my friends talked about how good THAT fried rice was, it is a must-order when you visit! ✨

you can make reservations, although it wasn’t that crowded during weekend brunch, and overall, i definitely enjoyed the environment and lovely service! i would love to try more mains the next time i visit, though their small plates are also equally tasty, so head down now to try their food~
