High income skills to future-proof yourself

As we all know, the economy now isn’t too good, many of my friends are unable to find a job upon graduation, some were even retrenched. So I decided to share on this post 4 high income skills and how you can pick it up as well 😊

1️⃣ Software development & programming

in-demand skills: JavaScript, Python, Java are popular languages. Also study data structures, algorithms, GitHub, and interview prep.

Free resources: freeCodeCamp, Udemy, and edX

2️⃣ Digital Marketing

Digital marketing gigs are great because they offer the best of both worlds: high earning potential and the freedom to work from home.

This is also what I’ve been doing to pay off my tuition fee and become self sufficient at 20 😂 I started an online business and picked up digital marketing 😍

High-income sales skills involve more than mere persuasion – they include understanding consumer behaviour, building long-term relationships, and crafting mutually beneficial deals. This is especially lucrative in industries like technology, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and finance.

Contrary to popular misconceptions, the field of web development is experiencing growth and transformation in 2024.

The best first step to becoming a Web Developer is to start learning web development fundamentals, including an understanding of HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and JavaScript.
