We tried the popular Butter Beef Burger

Nestled in Galaxis, One Fattened Calf is very popular with the office crowd, with long snaking lines during lunch. They serve 5 different burgers and one of them you can only order if you're dining in. Come early to get a seat so you can try out the ButterBurger. Don't skip the fries, they're seasoned to perfection.

Here's what we ordered:

OFC ButterBurger: 9/10 ($15.00 Ala carte | $19.90 for a combo)

✅ Slab of cold butter elevated the flavour of the beef.

✅ Wonderful charred crust on the beef.

✅ Rich with umami, perfectly balanced with the sweetcaramelised onions and tang of the house-made pickles

✅ There are both caramlised onions and raw onions, added a really nice crunch.

OFC Cheeseburger 8/10 ($15.00 Ala carte | $19.90 for a combo)

✅ Comes with a savoury and slightly tangy house-made sauce.

✅ The light and fluffy burger buns are made fresh everyday, absorbed the juices without getting too soggy.

✅ Less decadent than the ButterBurger, if you prefer something lighter, this is the one for you.

OFC Cheese Fries 9/10 ($3.50 upgrade to the combo)

✅ Fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.

✅ Well seasoned.

✅ Fried with the skin-on, gave a slightly earthy undertone which we loved.

✅ Paprika gave a nice smoky flavour finish.

You can taste the love that the team puts into their burgers. We'll definitely be back.
