A guide to Hong Kong #hkfilms 🇭🇰

I’m really in love with Hong Kong 🇭🇰 the culture, the food & it is a really great place to shoot films!

Some things to note:

1. SIM card 📲— I got MySIM for 33 HKD with 50 gb data. Couldn’t find it in the airport hence we got it at the 7-11 at Hong Kong Station. Coverage is pretty good & easy to set up!

2. Octopus card 🐙— tourist version. We got it at the airport counter & you can use it for MTR, star ferry, minibus, ding ding! At the end of the trip, you can refund for the remaining value at the counter where you got the cards from. Avoid adding the card to the mobile wallet/app as my friend had issues and couldn’t get the remaining value & deposit refunded! (Unless you are planning to go there in near future!)

3. Star ferry ⛴️ — it’s pretty worth the experience! 5 HKD. We took from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central in the evening and gosh, the sunset was perfect.

4. Cash 💰 — always bring more cash as some shops like Jenny Cookies & the da pai dongs only accept CASH!

5. 💳 Always bring along a credit card - youtrip, revolut!

6. Apps — some useful apps include MTR MOBILE (for the MTR Maps), Openrice if you are looking for good food reccos.

7. Day trips— if you have additional days, you can actually go to Macau via ferry and bus! (they accept HKD too)

I would love to go back to Hong Kong again….. soon!
