SLOW AIRBNB & CAFE IN JEJU 🐶 not gonna gatekeep!!

Planning to go to Jeju? Do consider this Airbnb in Bongseong-ri, Aewol.

It’s a 2 storey house which I really loved, like its name 느랏느랏 (slowly slowly), it’s a really good space for slow living. There are many elderlies living around the area. At night, it’s quiet and you can be closer to nature. If you are lucky enough, in the daytime you can spot Hallasan from the 2nd storey balcony!

Ambience— I had a really good check in experience, we left our luggages earlier with the owner (the cute couple owns a cafe next door!) when we checked in in the evening, the owners had prepared nice music for the check-in. I really loved the playlist full of peaceful music, basically full cafe playlist vibes.

They also provided tea for us to make, as well as complimentary coffee capsules for the dolce gusto machine.

There’s a GS25 convenient store, 2 mins walk away! And also there’s a good kimbap store owned by a middle aged lady which I really loved!

The young owners are really nice people. My dad had actually fallen sick and the owner actually drove me to several shops just to get some Korean flu medicine & he recovered pretty quickly! Overall we had great conversation in Korean each time we met, and he even asked me about Marina Bay Sands! We became friends on Instagram. Space — there’s a queen bed in the 2nd level, the second bed is actually on the first level where at night we would take away the cushions and table and tea set, and lay out the Korean kind of bedding. It is really comfortable and the blanket is super thick and cozy. Do not need to worry if the weather is cold as the house has internal heater. There’s also a toilet in each level. I loved the small vanity area in the 2nd level outside the washroom.

There’s a small cozy corner on the 2nd level where you can just sit and chill. There’s a cute guestbook for you to write your message inside. I enjoyed sitting at the balcony, people watch and drink a hot cup of coffee.

All in all, I chose this place because I wanted my parents to experience how it’s like to live outside of the city. They totally enjoyed the experience!

They provide essential stuff such as toaster, kettle, coffee machine, pots and pants if you need to heat up some food!

Price — $149/night (max 4 pax) we paid a total of $408 for 2 nights. Highly popular, do check their calendar!
