THERE’S PERANAKAN FOOD IN ORCHARD?! 🤤😍🤩

If you’ve run out of places to eat in orchard, this one is for you. This spot was introduced to me by my friend Apryl (thank you 😘) when we were looking for dinner after our workout in orchard. It was right smack during dinner time so we really didn’t want to go anywhere too crowded or where we had to queue, so she brought me here. What a good choice it was.

✅ TASTE

Every single dish we ordered was really good! Not a single miss, which was surprising for a restaurant in the middle of a department store. For two people we ordered three mains and one side, along with two plates of rice. We were absolutely stuffed by the end.

✅ NO QUEUE

We were immediately sat down upon arrival? At max we waited five minutes for the table to be sat. The rest of the customers that came in after us were also sat very quickly. I guess that’s a perk of visiting a restaurant that’s under the radar.

✅ QUIET

I think this is a pretty underrated spot. I’ve never seen anyone talking about this place. So we managed to have a nice quiet dinner where we could hear each other with no issue. A perk for sure if you want an intimate dinner with friends or family.

✅ VARIETY

The variety of dishes was pretty good! They’ve got some dishes I would go back again to try including the miso cod hor fun?!? That sounds absolutely delicious.

💸 COST

Definitely on the more expensive side for a dinner in town. Our total was about $60/70? But we also ordered a looooot of food for two people. I guess when you split with more friends, it’s not too bad.

⭐️ VERDICT: I would rate this spot a 7/10. I’m not in a rush to go back but if I want a fuss free dinner spot in a pinch while I’m in town, this is where I would choose. It also helps that the food is good. I would recommend the sotong hitam and the smoky savoy cabbage. Sooo good.
