I know people go to Australia to look/play with sheep and enjoy colder weather, but did you know that you can do BOTH in Malaysia as well?! Located up the mountains (?) of Cameron highlands, the sheep sanctuary is an affordable and super fun experience in COLD WEATHER, that is suitable for all ages. I highly recommend.

✅ CUTE

Uhhh the sheep were SO CUTE. My serotonin was through the roof. So cute and fluffy. They were running everywhere and they weren’t really aggressive IMO. The rams are kept in the pens so you’re quite safe there if you’re worried about that. They’ve got lots of fluffy sheep, rams and even lambs in the space so it was super cute!! Especially the babies. 🥹

✅ PRICE

I paid a total of $8 SGD for entry and a box of the sheep feed. I’d say it’s super worth it. Especially since you get really up close to the animals and interact with them with the food.

✅ EXPERIENCE

This was honestly such a good experience. From the cold weather in Cameron Highlands mixed with the sheep running around, it felt like I was in Australia or something. We bought tickets at the entrance and it was super seamless. However, if you’re sensitive to the smell of animal waste then you may not have the best time. The sheep do smell like…sheep. Also it didn’t help that when we went it was fresh after the rain. So they were damp little clouds. 🥹

Overall, forget going to Genting Highlands for the 5th time, this is your sign to come to Cameron highlands to play with sheep instead. I felt like a little kid at a zoo again, and it was honestly the highlight of my trip there. That was my purpose of going to Cameron highlands and I did not regret it for one second. Cold weather and cute sheep? What’s not to love??? Highly highly recommend!!!!
