Cafes that you must visit when you go Batam! 🇮🇩

Whether you are craving for a cozy corner for brunch or a trendy spot for your caffeine fix, Batam actually have plenty of cafes that are worth visiting! Here's our ratings for the cafes and restaurants that we have tried in Batam ☺️

📍Momoo Juice Bar & Coffee

These are what we ordered:

🍰 Sweet Potato Cake (Rp $57,000)

🍰 Choco Moo Drink (Rp $40,000)

The Sweet Potato Cake was light on palate, with a hint of sweetness that hit just right. We paired it with the Choco Moo Drink, a heavenly blend of chocolate, milk, and brown sugar syrup. It was calories overload, but otherwise a great complement to the cake.

📍Gazoz Cafe & Restaurant

We followed Google Maps and found this cafe easily, apparently it has quite a high rating on Google also.

These are what we ordered:

🍝 Hojicha Latte (Rp $61,000)

🍝 Spaghetti al Granchio (Rp$105,000)

🍝 Spaghetti e Funghi con Tartuffi (Rp $116,000)

Their Spaghetti e Funghi con Tartuffi stole the show! It was a good bowl of creamy chicken and mushroom spaghetti tossed in a truffle-infused sauce, though it gets slightly gelat towards the end and my boyfriend have to help me finish it.

We also tried their Spaghetti al Granchio, which is a tomato-based spaghetti with generous servings of crab meat. The Hojicha Latte was quite mediocre unfortunately.

The interior and asthetics of the cafe is 💯 but maybe that's why I felt that the prices here are a little more expensive than the usual cafes in Batam, but it is still cheaper as compared to Singapore.
