If you’re a mom, it can be hard to take care of yourself.
One thing that often falls to the wayside is nutrition. It can be difficult to shave out the time to meal prep, but if you have the ingredients and about 20 minutes, you can meal prep 5 breakfasts and not have to cook or think about it for the week!
I grabbed a pack of 8 (10oz) overnight oats jars from Amazon. These aren’t necessary; you can just use what you already have (bowls, Tupperware, etc). What I liked about these is they have a small footprint in my refrigerator and they come with spoons that you can clip to the side of the jar!
All you need to do is layer the following ingredients into a jar (or bowl) and allow them to sit overnight:
Recipe:
½ cup old-fashioned oats
½ cup milk of choice
⅓ cup Greek yogurt
1 TB vanilla protein powder
1-2 TB chia seeds
½-1 TB honey
½ cup berries of choice
1 TB mini dark chocolate chips
I layered them in the order the ingredients are listed and they turned out delicious!!
