UNICORN THEMED FIRST BIRTHDAY INSPIRATION

Are you starting to plan and scheme for your little one’s first birthday party?

We hosted the cutest little first birthday party for our daughter and loved the way the details came out!

First, we love an invitation that matches the theme of the party so we started there. We had these custom designed on Etsy and we just love how they turned out. The rose gold envelopes are from hobby lobby and were the perfect touch.

The next thing we did was solicited the help of a local baker. We wanted more than a typical grocer’s bakery would do and we love supporting small business as much as possible. She SLAYED both cakes and the marbled unicorn cookies that we used as favors for all of our guests (and we loved that they matched the marbling on all of our stationary. Did we mention we love the thorough execution of a theme?! 🤣)

Having a cake for guests as well as a smash cake for baby is probably our number one tip for a first birthday of any kind. This makes it so your little one can go ham on a cake and you can get all your cute cake smeared pictures while your guests enjoy a cake that hasn’t been slobbered all over and mashed to pieces!

We ordered our thematic plates, napkins, stationary, and customized cake toppers from Etsy and we cannot say enough about how well they turned out!

We just LOVE all the little details.
