How I’m learning to love myself

One of my favorite topics to talk about! SELF LOVE!

Now this took me some time to understand & to take action on because I never knew what it was like to love myself or be capable to love myself. Especially after such toxic relationships & friendships. I didn't know I was worthy of love.

Once I started to show myself love, started to heal from my past & so self care acts my life transformed for the better. Here are some ways I started to learn to love myself.

I started to spend all of my time alone. Finding true inner peace & understanding I can be my own best friend. I started to take myself out on dates without relying on anyone else joining me. I started going to the gym & working out, going to coffee shops & enjoying seasoned coffee. I started going on walks which then I learned hiking was now one of my favorite ways to release negative emotions & enjoyed the sun shinning on me & listening to the birds chirp. It's unreal what just a walk can do for you!

I started making promises to myself & following through with them. So I was no longer letting myself down. This helped me build trust & confidence in myself knowing I can rely on myself.

I started taking care of my physical & emotional health. I started eating healthy, meal prepping, working out, journaling, walking, doing daily affirmations, and understanding my own needs.

I also got myself into therapy & was doing therapy twice a week for the extra support. This was life changing for me & I still do therapy once a week as of today. If you haven't tried therapy try it out 😊
