A Little Taste of Home in Greece - a Food Review!

This was a great place to eat.

The location is fantastic, it’s actually on a quieter part of a touristy street in Athens, right by the Ancient Agora. It had high ratings, so we decided to give it a try.

We started with some falafel and tzatziki.

The falafel was super crunchy and almost had an earthy, smoky flavor to it. It was very different than the falafel you’d have in America, probably because they used different chickpeas than here - but I loved it!

The tzatziki was super refreshing and light, and also tasted very good. We were super satisfied with the appetizers and felt the portion size was perfect for 3 people.

I got the ravioli with wild mushrooms - it was very heavy on the truffle, which I love, so I really enjoyed it. The mushrooms were also really nice and soft, very flavorful and the pasta was cooked perfectly!

My boyfriend got the short ribs, that they had been cooking since the morning, and it was falling off the bone! The meat was tender and juicy, but I love flavor, so it was missing just a hint of an oomph of some seasoning. The mashed potatoes were good, but they actually came a little cold.

The service was great! They even ended the meal with free small shots. I highly recommend this in Athens!
