Hey guys,

So you might have never heard of Palanga until today (or Lithuania for that matter), but Palanga is what Santa Monica wishes it could be. I am not exaggerating. This is pretty much my first time, and I was SO impressed with how much there is to do here!!

First, we unwound by grabbing some cocktails at the Sun and Moon bar on the beach (I got an Afrika Mama and my boyfriend got an aperol mango spritz). Definitely a must, if you want to relax.

Second, walk the pier! So many beautiful views!

Next is the Ferris wheel, that’s right near the beach. Even more gorgeous views (about 10 euros when we went).

Swim in the Baltic Sea! There is so much iodine in the sea, and it’s so good for you. It’s cold but worth it!

Walk the city center - it’s full of shopping, restaurants, games, activities, and more. It’s almost a kilometer long. Besides the Ferris wheel, we also did the bumper cars (cue major whiplash LOL and a revolving illusion house. But there’s an illusion museum, multiple arcades, games, you name it. It is SO FAMILY-FRIENDLY. There are soooo many games and rides for kids everywhere and a bunch of outdoor restaurants even had trampolines for the littles!

Go for a walk in the woods. There’s a huge park and it’s so lush and beautiful.

While you’re in the woods, check out the Amber museum - it used to be a manor used by a Count that has been re-purposed.

Check out the street food! Especially the ice cream and this potato spiral I tried.

Walk the city at night - it’s lively, and almost all of the restaurants have live music!

If this city is not your list - it needs to be!
