Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, softened

8 oz cream cheese, softened

3 cups granulated sugar

6 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan or tube pan.

Cream the Butter, Cream Cheese, and Sugar:

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the sugar, beating on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.

Add the Eggs:

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Mix the Dry Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing just until combined.

Bake the Cake:

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 75-85 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If the cake starts to brown too quickly, cover it loosely with foil during the last 20 minutes of baking.

Cool and Serve:

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then carefully remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
