Hot Take: Scars are Beautiful

I have an early post on a scar care product haul that I wanted to expand upon since scars are a topic I feel like many beauty creators don't acknowledge or talk about often. Definitely check out my earlier post if you're looking for some new products to help heal your scars.

This is definitely a hot take, but I think scars are beautiful. I believe scars are a physical manifestation of our life's story. Certain chapters of our life we may acquire scars, but I don't feel like these moments need to be completely disappear from our life. Scars honor the past, so please love them ALWAYS.

I have not always felt this way about my own scars. It was not easy to get to this point in my life. I used to be terrified of getting scars, but not I've realized how powerful surviving life's challenges and acquiring these scars is. When I first started caring for my scars I bought products which sought to eliminate all traces of my scars. Now I'm simply trying to even out discoloration but embrace the physical remnants of life's memories on my body.
