Beautiful Koreatown Restaurant

Hutaoli in Koreatown serves Chinese cuisine with nightly live music. The decor is stunning, with plants hanging from the ceiling and retro posters on the walls. The live music is diverse, so check their line-up before you visit.

🍜 Braised beef noodles ($18) were hearty and satisfying, with a rich broth and soft noodles. There was a little bit of spice, which I enjoyed 7/10.

🥦 Chicken and broccoli ($18) was tender and flavorful, with a light sauce that complemented the vegetables. This was a pretty large portion and more chicken than broccoli. Overall very average 6/10.

🦴 Crispy beef ribs ($43) were succulent and crunchy, and served with a sauce on the side. Plated with a large bone, I was excited about this dish looked, but it fell flat. Frying the ribs made the dish oily and fatty 3/10.

The atmosphere at Hutaoli is great and there is potential for a fun and tasty night out. It is a large space and no reservation needed. Food rating 6/10.
