RECREATING MOM JEANS LOOKS 💙📸

Hey Girlies! I am obsessed with mom jeans and I have a pair of mom jeans that I just can’t stop wearing and it’s the H&M Mom Jeans. When you hear Mom Jeans, you might be intimidated because people have been saying you will look frumpy or it does not fit you properly. Welllll, if you are styling it the right way, it will look amazing on you! Trust me, I had my doubts prior trying out the mom jeans but oh my god, it is my ultimate favourite pair of jeans now. I have attached 4 styles (with style inspo from other sources as well) for you to try out 💙

OUTFIT 1:

Mom jeans - H&M

Knit top - Mango

Heels - Zalora

I used the white + blue combo here as my colour palette and as you can see, it works really well! My knit top looks a bit too big on me so I tucked it into my jeans (a tip that I’ve kept with me since forever!) and I paired it with my nude heels and it looks put together without any effort whatsoever.

I love wearing my mom jeans with sweaters! I think it looks so chic and casual and I don’t look I’m trying too hard if you know what I mean 🫶🏼 Of course, the trick is to tuck in your oversized top since the key is to balance out your proportions! Both my top and bottom are on the oversized spectrum, so I gave it a bit more body with the tucking trick 😉

For this look, I wanted to look more feminine so I wore a more fitted cardigan instead of the oversized top with my mom jeans. I tucked in my cardigan into the jeans (OF COURSE 😉) and it gave a bit more depth to my look for sure. I get so many compliments whenever I wear this and I feel like I have worn the outfit so many times, I can never get tired of it cause it is just a classic and timeless look!

Hailey Bieber wore something similar to this and I just got inspired and made it my own. These mom jeans are a bit more fitted but it still has the silhouette of the standard mom jeans. If you are intimidated of the traditional mom jeans, you can opt for something with a bit more structure to it but still keeping the essences of the mom jeans. H&M makes a slimmer version of mom jeans so you defo have to check that out! I unbuttoned my green shirt and showed a little bit of the white inner that I was wearing inside. Hailey wore a Bottega bag so of course I gotta wear my Bottega bag as well! And for another pop of colour, I wore my baby blue Bottega heels 💙
