These youtube channels pulled my GPA up?!

Even though I could not get a 4.0GPA, I was still quite happy with my gradual improvement. I’ve always struggled with mediocre grades in secondary school. These are 4 youtube channels that helped me grasp and visualise most concepts that your modules will cover:

REALLY condensed but informative with cartoonised graphics. The way Hank Green connects the theories to our daily lives or case scenarios helped me understand better. Understanding > better memorisation 🥸

BASICALLY EVERYTHING from medication, nursing lab skills, nursing considerations really helpful for clinical attachments and projects that involve patient case management

khanacademymedicine illustrates the disease processes! good for case presentations to relate patient’s life to their medical histories and nursing prognosis

I only discovered this in uni when practising for OSCE (body system assessment) and my school even use their videos for lecture lol! But try to film yourself enacting out the skills and asking the (fake patient) questions then compare them with GeekyMedics’ videos 👀

Asking patient questions shows empathy and it is highly commendable during your nursing skills assessment.
