3 Classes That Made Nursing School Easier 🤓

Nursing school is difficult, but doing well in these three classes made it easier!

1) Anatomy and physiology: This class was a prerequisite and was the foundation for everything I would be learning in nursing school. It taught me everything about the human body and all of its systems. Knowing this information made classes like health assessment and pathophysiology easier to understand.

2) Microbiology: This class was also a prerequisite and taught me a lot about different disease causing organisms. Having this understanding made pathophysiology much easier because I was able to better comprehend the cause of each disease we learned about.

3) Therapeutic Interventions: This was a class I took while completing my Masters in psychology. Therapeutic communication is extremely important in nursing and it has come up on many of my exams. Already having prior knowledge on how to communicate with clients has been a huge advantage and has helped me feel more comfortable speaking to patients at clinical.
