The Best Additions to Your Puerto Rico Itinerary

Recently took a trip to Puerto Rico and these were some of my favorite destinations! 🇵🇷🌴🌊☀️

✨Crash Boat Beach, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

This beach is considered one of the most beautiful on the island.

- There's unique art and boats on the beach to take memorable photos with.

- I highly recommend staying until the evening to catch one of the most beautiful sunsets you'll ever see.

- I truly felt like I was in a tropical paradise.

✨Viejo San Juan (Old San Juan), San Juan, Puerto Rico

Spaniards settled in Old San Juan in 1521 making it the oldest city in the United States.

- The beautifully vibrant colonial style architecture is evident throughout the entire city.

- I especially recommend visiting El Morro, a fort previously used by the Spanish to defend the island from invasion, and Paseo de la Princesa, a promenade with stunning views of the ocean.

- I highly recommend wearing comfortable sneakers because you’ll be doing a lot of walking through narrow streets, some of which are uphill.

✨ Balneario de Carolina, Carolina, Puerto Rico

This beach is much quieter than some others in the metropolitan area which was perfect for relaxation.

- The sand is white and the waters are crystal blue.

- The waves sometimes get strong depending on the day you visit. If they’re too strong, a red flag will be up at the enterance meaning you won’t be allowed to enter the water.

- The international airport is directly across the street, so it was super cool to watch airplanes take off every few minutes.
