As we reach the end of the year, I found myself extremely exhausted and lethargic so I decided to take some time off everything and tried batik painting at home! 🌺

I got my set from Novak Batik on Shopee from RM50 including the ink, palette, two brushes and reference cards! 🌟 Because it is ink and not paint, she included colour mixing cards for your reference to mix certain colours to get certain colours too.

She has a ton of beautiful designs which she draws and designs herself (she’s an architect btw!! ) and we love supporting small businesses ✨ I chose the anemone design if you’re wondering!

The overall verdict: 100% best experience ever! I’m in the comfort of my own home, my own room at that, away from technology and the world — healing my inner child and investing my time towards myself 🕊️
