BYOMA Product Review

It’s been a long time since I’ve tried a new skincare line. Byoma jumped out at me because how cute and colorful the packaging is. Once I started reading the ingredients for each of the products I knew that this would be a great line to try. And the price too?

Here is the full line that Urban Outfitters carries so I decided to try them all. So far I’ve only had it for a week so I’ll give my initial opinions.

The Creamy Jelly Cleanser feels good on the skin and it lathers a decent amount. The one thing is that I wish it would clear off a bit more of my makeup. I like to start a new product with the most difficult things to clean so it’s a winner if I can find a cleanser that can completely wash off eye makeup without an extra cleanse. This did pretty good with just leaving a bit of mascara round my eyes.

The serums also feel good to the touch however they do tend to lather slightly when you layer them on together. Maybe I need to let them completely dry before the next serum but that’s where my impatience comes into play and I just want to continue the routine as quickly as possible. So far I can’t say whether or not they work for me just because it’s only been a week. I love the ingredients for them though and what they intend to do so I’m excited.

The Balancing Face Mist is very refreshing but I wish it was really more of a mist than a squirt from the bottle. It feels too targeted when you spray. It comes out pretty harsh like a stream of liquid.

Lastly, the two moisturizers, Moisturizing Rich Cream or Gel Cream, are good options for any skin type. I decided to try the gel cream instead of the rich cream only because I like a little bit more lightweight moisture. That’s exactly what I get from the gel cream. It’s nice and lightweight and feels really good on the skin as if I am getting a ton of moisture added back into my skin by the end of the routine.
