How I knew I needed to let go of Insta:

1. My anxiety was THROUGH THE ROOF. I was doom scrolling instead of doing quality activities for myself. I was wasting precious time that I could be using for myself, my hobbies, and being a student.

2. The body dysmorphia!!! I became more hyper critical of my body and had such a low self image of myself. I was creating impossible standards that I could never obtain without spending thousands of dollars.

3. FOMO. Constantly wished I was doing something but kept spending time on my phone. It also made me feel unhappy with my life, even though I have so many great friends and opportunities.

All in all, I became more unhappy. I wasn’t using my time well or even really enjoying Instagram anymore. I’m planning on taking a solid month’s break to reset.
