Saving money is great. HOWEVER, do know that saving money in cash reduces value overtime if it only sits in your savings. I had to learn this the harsh way.

For example, the value of your 100 bucks in 2020 is now only 84.8% of that. This means that with that same money, you buy less today as the value “shrunk” due to inflation. So, the amount of money you have that can buy, for example, a TV today, you might only be able to buy a yeti water bottle in the future 😀. I’d suggest looking into ROTH IRA and index funds, as well as compounding interest. Investing savings from your earnings can grow so much even in the span of only 10 years with compounding interest.
