This crockpot roasted chicken could not be any easier & what I love most about it is the minimal ingredients + supplies needed. All you really need is a crockpot and you can make this chicken in no time...okay well maybe 4-hours, but still.
Here's what you'll need: SUPPLIES

Here's what you'll need: INGREDIENTS
- 1 full chicken (make sure it's thawed -- otherwise it will take 6-hours)
- 1/2 tbs salt
- 1/2 tbs pepper
- 1/2 tbs garlic powder
- 1/2 tbs green goddess seasoning (from Trader Joe's)
- 4+ cups of chicken bone broth (I make my own but you can definitely buy this)
Instructions:
1. place the full thawed chicken in your crockpot
2. add bone broth to crockpot
3. sprinkle the rest of the seasonings over the chicken
4. turn the heat to "HIGH" & let simmer for the next 4-hours
5. once the chicken has cooked for 2-hours, you can add in your vegetables (if desired)
*I added in carrots, but that isn't necessary. However, it does make for a really delish side with your chicken
And there you have it! I highly recommend making use of your crockpot because it truly does making cooking meat SO EASY. Start this at 1pm and by supper-time you've got a meal your or your whole family will love.
