SCOTCHAROO PUPPY CHOW

I loveeeee dessert, and truthfully anything with chocolate and peanut butter is always a win. If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I never leave a meal without something sweet, and that I’m always seeking out ways to improve the quality and nutrition of my dessert.

I don’t always reach for the most “healthy” dessert, however, I definitely feel so much better when I do. It’s also so much fun to experiment with various flavors and products to make something so darn good!

BUT this scotcharoo puppy chow (midwestern folks, you know), is out of this world. Scotcharoos and puppy chow are two of my most favorite midwest recipes so why not combine the two!

These are dairy-free (potentially GF if you use Chex), vegan, high-quality, and protein packed. Like…truly the whole package here! Below you will find the ingredient measurements….let me know what you think when you try them out!

What you need:

- 4 cups heritage flakes

- 1/2 cup 100% pea protein

- 1 tsp sea salt

MIX FIRST, THEN ADD

- 1/2 cup natural unsalted PB

- 1/4 cup maple syrup

- 1/4 cup mini vegan chocolate chips
