Our MESSY & inefficient laundry days are OVER 🥳

Like most BTO homeowners, we started our home journey with the manual laundry rack.

At the start, we didn’t see the need to have an automated rack with drying functions as our clothes usually dry in a day with the strong wind and afternoon sun in our service yard 🌞

No dryer too as we didn’t want another bulky appliance + it consumes more electricity + some clothes aren’t suitable for the dryer as they may shrink!

Then as the months passed, some inconveniences started to surface 🥲

😐 Troublesome to lower/raise the rack manually. Plus it can get quite heavy with bedsheets and towels 🥺

😐 As we don’t use clothes pegs when hanging the laundry (too troublesome), whenever it got windy the smaller stuff like socks/undies would often drop or almost fly out through the gaps in the window grilles! There was once we even found our son’s school shorts at the bottom of our block 🫢

😐 Due to the rainy weather, sometimes our kids’ uniforms don’t dry in time for them to wear on the next school day, and we have to resort to using a hair dryer to speed up the drying process, which is really troublesome 😩

😐 It got stuck several times when I was trying to lower it 🤨 And the loud freaking noise it makes is kind of worrying; feels that some parts are already rusting??

By morning the clothes would have completely dried and we can quickly keep them before our guests come. If that’s not efficient, I don’t know what is 😎
