✨ GARLIC BUTTER FRIED RICE ✨

Feeling hungry? 🤤 Our garlic butter fried rice is a total comfort food that’s super easy to make and even easier to love. We paired it with our favourite rite popcorn chicken for a kid-friendly twist. What’s your go-to protein with fried rice? 🍚

INGREDIENTS:

6-8 garlic cloves, minced

2 eggs

4-5 cups cooked day-old rice

2 tbsp unsalted butter

white pepper & black pepper, to taste

1 tsp chicken stock seasoning

a handful of green onions, chopped

1 tbsp light soy sauce

oil, for cooking

METHOD:

1. Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add the garlic and cook until golden brown, about 1 minute. Remove and set aside.

3. Add the eggs to the wok and scramble them until cooked, then add the rice.

4. Stir-fry the rice and eggs together until heated through. Reduce heat to low.

5. Add the butter, soy sauce, pepper, and chicken stock powder.

6. Then, add the fried garlic and green onions.

7. Stir to combine and serve immediately.

📌 use a wok for the best results, as it will help to distribute the heat evenly

📌 use leftover rice for the best flavour and texture
