what I’ve learned from my relationship🤍

I’ve been in a lot of relationships and learned a lot from each and everyone. Now I am currently in a 11 month long relationship and counting. Here is what I have learned make a relationship stronger.

I tend to be a very obsessive person and when I would date a new guy, I would only think about him. I would forget about my friends and myself and only focus and seeing my new boyfriend every second that I could.

I quickly learned that that wasn’t a good way to be in a relationship. You need to have your own life separate from your partners. You need to keep your friends and do things for yourself and take time for yourself. It’s okay to be in a honeymoon phase at first, but there comes a time when you need to separate yourselves from eachother so that you don’t depend on eachother.

I have learned that when I depend on my boyfriend I get anxious when I’m not with him, and I hate being by myself. Once I figure d out how to be okay on my own and take time for myself I was independent and could enjoy my time with or without my partner.

These are just things I have learned in my personal experience. Not every relationship is going to be perfect and don’t compare your relationship to others. Just simply do what is best for YOU.
