I posted a similar post a few months ago using a different product. That product has held up pretty well however it always seems to be out of stock, so I was in the market for an alternative. Besides, a girl's gotta have options.
PS: I have a good mix of real and custom jewelry. I use jewelry protectant on both.
After a few Google searches, I came across ProtectaClear. It had quite a few positive feedback, so I got them to try.
I purchased the liquid dip first, which worked beautifully, but I wanted to be able to coat a large amount of jewlery of at once, and so I went back to get the spray.
Do you need both?
Well, that just depends on your preference. I like using the liquid form for precise coating like watches because i dont want the product to get on the watch display windown. I also prefer the liquid for rhinestone jewelry to keep them shiny.
I've had these for the past three months, I am an avid jewlery wearer, and everything is holding up nicely so far.
PS:
I've used this on all of my jewelry. Real and custom. From earings, bracelet to rings.
I've not tested this under water.
***Links to both are in the bio***
